How is air freight pricing calculated?
Air freight is priced based on the greater of actual gross weight or volumetric weight (length × width × height ÷ 6000) in kilograms. We also factor in fuel surcharges, origin handling, and airline booking fees. You receive a full itemised breakdown in your quote.
What documents are required for air freight from Nigeria?
Standard requirements include a commercial invoice, packing list, airway bill, Combined Certificate of Value and Origin (CCVO), and where applicable: phytosanitary certificates (for agricultural goods), NAFDAC certificates (for food/cosmetics), and Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) certifications.
What items cannot be shipped by air?
Dangerous goods include flammable liquids, explosives, lithium batteries (beyond specified limits), corrosives, and certain chemicals.
