Consolidation FAQs
What is the difference between consolidation and standard air freight?
Standard air freight charges represent bookings for individual cargo airway bills, where you pay full airline terminal fees. Consolidation groups your package with others on a single master airway bill, allowing cargo terminal fees to be divided pro-rata, resulting in lower shipping rates.
How often do consolidated shipments depart Lagos?
We have weekly departures for air consolidation (leaving every Friday) and bi-weekly departures for consolidated ocean freight containers. This ensures you never have to wait too long for container fill times.
Is there a minimum package weight for air consolidation?
We accept air cargo consolidation packages from as small as 5 kg. For ocean freight consolidation (LCL), the minimum volume is 0.5 cubic metres (CBM).
